Fear

Reality of Fear
You're not afraid of the dark-You're afraid of what's in it.
You're not afraid of heights- You're afraid of falling.
You're not afraid of people around you- You're afraid of rejection.
You're not afraid to love-You're afraid of not being loved back.
You're not afraid of to let go- You're afraid to accept the reality that they are really gone.
You're not afraid to try again- You're afraid of getting hurt for the same reason.

I read this and it kinda punched me in the gut.  It hit me pretty darn close. Fear is a disease that you can get pretty easily but it's not so easy to cure.  The cure is Faith, Trust, and Love.  I have a loving older brother, Jesus Christ that is abolutely perfect in all three of those antidotes. The perfect place for me to learn and maste those three remedies is to put more faith, more trust, and more love in my Savior.  He is the surest way through anything. Right now I need sure.  I need strength. I need Christ.
