This bed reminded me of when we talked about colors and light. The white of this board helps the lighting on this room. By having it be so white compared to the tan walls and plum pillows and gray bedspread, it makes the room look brighter then it is. The contrast between the two is so evident. Your eyes just go to the tree and the naturalistic characteristics it possess. So this headboard tree gives this room light as well as sets the mood and place of the rest of the room.
